Was very excited to try fried green tomatoes! They were SOOOOOOOO good! We had several items, but the fried green tomatoes were definitely the best item. I highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly and you know they care about the customer. Everything was perfect!
If you want good authentic southern Cajun cooking K'Lynn's Southern & Cajun Fusion is your place. I've wanting to try this and finally did today. I'm a sucker for jambalaya and K'Lynn did not disappoint. Best jambalaya since my last trip to NOLA. They had chicken and dumplings as their special an it was delicious. The peach cobbler was fantastic and the Coca Cola cake was so good. Give K'Lynn's a try.
My son is a lover of all that is gator! I had recently read that K'Lynns offers gator on their menu, so we wanted to take my son to check it out. Though I have passed this restaurant several times and never thought too much about it... I was quite upset that I've been missing out on the treasures offered inside! When we walked in, the place had a small homey feel and smelled like warmth and indeed....comfort.. The waitress was so kind and attentive though it appeared she was the only one working the front of house. We started off by getting the sampler basket to make sure of what we may want to order... it came out quickly... it was sizzling hot and was seasoned perfectly. The okra was lightly battered and honestly the best okra I've had! I had never had fried green tomatoes, but after this experience I most definitely will be back to get more! My son and husband both decided on gator meals. I went with shrimp. For sides we had red beans and rice with sausage, cheesy grits. The cheesy grits spread on my shrimp po'boy was an extra special level of ahhhmazingly delicious! Can't wait til our next visit!
